The popularity of that more-classical less-idol dance show probably does have a lot to do with this, though, gender non-withstanding. |

Been reading this since it came out, quite out of my regular taste, however it is really good, standard, extremely well executed shounen with a seinen feel. Really hope the anime can convey that same explosive feeling the manga manages to deliver. Also really hope they dont try to spin this for girls with some homoerotic shit or something... It's quite the traditional shounen with a twist on the setting. Really the setting could have been boxing or any sport really, and the characters would have worked just fine.
The fact that it manages to pull off ballroom dancing in a shounen magazine really proves how good of a series this is, and i really hope the anime will do it justice. If so, this could be extremely popular with pretty much everyone. On a side note i have absolutely no idea how they are going to pull off a satisfying season with the material currently available, i guess we will see. And btw, the mangaka is sick and has been on a hiatus since early 2016  . Maybe this signals his return, Hope!

I literally screamed out loud in joy! I really like this series and I was speculating that it might get an anime because Kodansha USA randomly decided to publish it.
Hopefully it gets a good studio and not A1-Pictures. |
