They could come away owning significant portions of the actual IP. I think more is going on than the repayment of what is in reality a small loan in the grand scheme of things:

Well,it's good that Gainax apologized. I think they did it because they thought it would have had a lot of bad publicity and I don't think they wanted that,no matter how much money was at stake. For Gainax,it was better to save face than cause a lot of unnecessary problems. What do you guys think?
