I don’t know if it’s because I constantly watch a whole bunch of Adult Swim shows like “The Eric Andre Show” and “Off the Air”, but I find myself wholly desensitized to the weirdness of this show, it’s odd.
I do agree it would fit right in with the Adult Swim lineup. Certainly helps that the dub is just as good. |

I agree that the Bob Epic Team skits are some of the best parts of the show. The team behind those segments are really dedicated to making them look and sound as awful as they can, so they loop right back around to being amazing in their own twisted way.
I don't think I could handle entire episodes like that, though. It would probably be too much even for me. |

I think it's due in par to the pop culture references and how absurd the show is. Those and the changing sets of seiyuu each episode. |

Well, you're missing out on something, that's for sure. Whether that something is good or not is very subjective. I'd say that its popularity is related to the nature of internet memes. Many of them are often funny to many people despite the origin or meaning of the joke being unknown. |

I enjoy this show so much and the only reason I can think of as to "why" is because I get to look forward to having my favorite Dub voice actors just go crazy week after week.
A lot of the jokes don't even have a punchline, but I will pay good money to see the bloopers of Ian Sinclair and Chris Sabat when they were dubbing their part of Episode 1. |

Not only is the show funny (albeit somewhat hit & miss, as all gag comedies must resign themselves to being), I am consistently impressed by just how dedicated to their craft the showrunners are, and how consistently well-produced this show is, week after week. The stop-motion bits are legitimately excellent, and Bob Epic Team is one of the weirdest, grossest, dumbest bits in anime, and for that I thank this show.

This show is on the brink of SOMETHING. I don't have a clue what, but I am glad it has not resorted to gross humor to pad some of its more eccentric jokes. Poop jokes are like the easy way out for this strange type of comedy.
