They already have Season 2 split up into 2 parts, showing they are going to do a cour by cour release in the comings months

If we do not get to Praise the Sun during this movie THEN WE RIOT! Seriously while I do like this series and enjoy reading it I know I wouldn't enjoy it half as much if Escanor wasn't part of it. When he was finally introduced he just made the series so much better.

It said it was a completely new story so I don't think it has anything to do with the manga.

finally we got some news on this it sounds pretty nice and could even be considered unofficial canon at least the way they are wording it pretty hypu!

If by just having a very generic gimmicky walking plot device thing in this great series is ur cup of tea then go ahead I personally think his character is very mediocre and overrated
