True, most of the main cast probably won’t be recast, but Code Geass is still considered a relatively old dub, and a lot of the actors have retired (Michael Lindsay), quit anime (Troy Baker), or disappeared off the face of the earth (Kim Mai Guest). One of the Japanese actors even passed away. |

that is what i am wondering myself. for one thing it would cost them a crapload of cash to get the entire bang zoom cast to do the english dub for the movies let alone the upcoming season three! not to mention that some of the cast members no longer even voice in the anime industry anymore. sure they could do like with akito the exiled and have only the VA's for lelouch , suzaku and C.C return and the rest of the cast with funi VA's, but that could open up a massive can of worms which sunrise doesn't want to face. however i wouldn't be surprised at all if they have given the movies the sub only treatment right now! |

Code Geass was not dubbed at Bang Zoom, it was at Animaze which has long since closed.
Then they would have done the same thing with the new Eureka Seven movies but they didn't. They sent those dubs to LA with a different studio from the one who dubbed the show and made them union so everyone is back for them. |

well i watched all 50 eps on adult swim during its run, and to be uber sure, i rewatched the series again. and the end credits stated that it was bang zoom ent, not animaze/zero limit productions!
so either bandai did a typo error when they had the series? |

I have Bandai's release of the first season. Animaze is credited. they are also credited here, on this websites database as well as the end credits on funi's website, and their own release of the show. So toonami might have gotten something wrong

Given what I've heard of the changes made in the movies, I'd say it's even more imperative that FUNimation dubs them. We're going to need them.
