I'll keep my eyes on this. The Manga is visually stunning, and a good adaptation could make it really beautiful.

Assuming they put in the required budget/effort into the animation to do the manga justice, we really should be in for one visually gorgeous film!

I haven't been this excited for anything since Uchouten Kazoku S2 was announced. This manga brought a quick end to my decade long thalassophobia, and perhaps more importantly, introduced me to Igarashi Daisuke's many works. Studio 4°C has made visually stunning movies in the past that I've quite enjoyed, so I hope they can keep the passion of Children of the Sea alive.
