Ohhh, #8, huh. Though rankings aren't everything since we have no idea what the box office numbers are. Hopefully it's on track towards billions of yen in the long run like what the first Love Live movie made.

I went to a 3PM showing on Saturday in Shinjuku, and the theater wasn't 100% full. Considering it was showing almost every hour and this theater was the only one I could see that was showing in the Tokyo Metropolitan area, I was surprised to see the front area open.
That said, it was a good movie. The promotions for it in the theater will have people coming back for new merchandise. The movie ticket also came with codes for all three games so I bet there will be people who keep going back to get more of them.

Does this take into consideration the free movie codes the average fan accumulated about 10 of in the last half year?
