It doesn't seem like there is much to work through. CR and Funi both shared some titles that were previously exclusive.

The first two seasons of Overlord and A Certain Magical Index have also expired on Crunchyroll. All of these shows can still be watched on Hulu and their free service, Yahoo View. But thankfully I have a Funimation account now so I'm all set to go.

I love Crunchyroll, but their virtual monopoly with streaming was getting scary. Hopefully next season HIDIVE gets around 10 simulcasts and Funimation gets 15-17. Competition is a good thing.

odd, i always thought everyone wanted ONLY Crunchyroll and Netflix to serve as the ONLY services to stream anime. The way people scream and shout down AMZN, Funi, HiDive, Hulu and even youtube.

That may work for you, but not for those of us who live in a country where funimation doesn't work. This season, except for dororo, date a live 3 and kakegurui, crunchyroll has all the series I'm following (including some sentai filmworks titles, thanks to their partnership), so for me it's a good thing they have a lot of titles, and I hope CR involves in more production committees so they can bring more series.

Competition is one thing but splintering off steaming rights with so many series is also bad. Anime and everything else. I don't want to pay for 3 anime services, plus Netflix, Hulu, Disney, and whatever else. It's insane and absurd.

Also Sony buying Funimation is scarier in my opinion. Sony has been going on a censorship rampage lately, especially with anime related products.

I went onto CR the other day and noticed YuYu Hakusho got pulled. There goes my chance to watch legally. :/
I just hope all this drama doesn't have a domino effect on AnimeLab here in Australia. Some shows already have a region lock, I'd be concerned if some shows got pulled because of 'licensing issues'.
