So, I’m confused. Funi licensed and dubbed Big Windup but never dubbed Season 2 and just let the license expire, then Right Stuf bought the license and released it and... dubbed the rest themselves? Is that right?

It's a fairly old anime so it's possible they won't, but I do hope they dub it so we don't end up with a When They Cry/Familiar of Zero problem. I'm also curious if they would do a dub for A Town Where You Live - I know a lot of people hate it, and that would create a Free problem with the Tatsunoko OVAs, but Funimation had relative success with Suzuka and Fuuka so they could give it a shot.

Oh never mind, I thought the encyclopedia page had the dub cast on it, but I was looking at S1.

Rightstuf really doesn’t Dub Anime anymore other than Gundam. So besides that, their last Dubs they made were probably The Third - The Girl With The Blue Eye, To Heart, Ninja Nonsense and Comic Party.

Rightstuf also licensed Super Gals Seasons 1&2 and Season 1 had a Dub with ADV but Rightstuf did not give Season 2 a Dub either.

Right Stuf! hasn't given up on dubbing. They are just doing it via Kickstarter. They are just finishing up Aria and are beginning on Emma.

Right Stuf has nothing to do with the recent Gundam dubs, Sunrise commissioned them all themselves, including the dubs that FUNimation has streamed & has/will release on video (Iron Blooded Orphens & Build Divers).

Gundam is a bit of a unique situation. Right Stuf is the distributor for most Gundam shows, but Sunrise handles them more directly, rather than licensing them. Sunrise picked NYAV Post to do the dubbing. Even then, Sunrise doesn't go through Right Stuf every time, like IBO ended up being distributed through Funimation. Right Stuf seems to get to weigh in on the physical product for Gundam shows, the Tequila Gundam shot glass for G Gundam was their idea, and if some the mailings I've gotten from them are anything to go by, Right Stuf seems to get to set the prices.
