Why January 2021? That's too long. Due to coronavirus again?

I was hoping for it to premiere this year, but I will wait patiently.

I think summer camping could be fun.

I was quite bummed out when it was leaked that it will air in Jan 2021 way back in January or so, now it got its confirmation. Still too early to get excited, but atleast its coming finally. Hopefully no more 3 year gaps between seasons, that’d be a waste.

Could be they haven't done any work until they finished work on Room Camp and Starmyu.

2021 feels like too far away for one of my favorite recent shows. I can get wanting to have a comfy show like this in the cooler months but I don't know why they couldn't have aired this in the fall at least.

this show has created its very own strong niche in Anime and is one of the finest of its kind in year. .maybe ever. It is hard to quantify exactly what and where the magic comes from but it appears in the very first episode and continues all the way thru each one. The show is not afraid to be simple, kind, sweet without being stupid and does not shy from topics that few anime are willing to talk about. I love it and that is an unabashed love firmly rooted in decades of work in anime and watching it..and a love of the artistry of the art style, character design and the fine fine story. I look forward with great joy to Season 2.

Thank you author, artists and studio.

If it means the staff have a more sane production schedule I'm all for it. Moving it up 1 season sounfs miniscule to a viewer but from the animator side it means losing 3 months of lead time, and the first season already had some noticeable production hiccups.
