Damn.... His music in Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z can at the start be an acquired taste if you were raised on the Saban/Funimation dub's music but once you experience the score, it grows on you and you start to see the genius of it. It's true to the series inspiration of wuxia and kung fu films and there is no other anime soundtrack like it. Rest in Peace, Kikuchi-san.

For some of us otherwise it was a pretty easy and enjoyable listen throughout.

That aside shame about his passing.

Rest in peace and thank you for everything, Shunsuke Kikuchi.

I've spent my whole childhood and teenage years listening to his wonderfull musics. More than I've ever listened to any other kind of music or songs.
Grendizer, then Captain Harlock: Arcadia of my youth, then Dragon Ball, then DBZ.

He's made so many culturally iconic works, this really is a heavy loss. May he rest peacefully.

What a giant. If he had worked on nothing but Dragon Ball, he'd still have left a mark on millions of people all over the world. May he rest in peace.

So sad to hear about Kikuchi's passing. I loved his music for (of course) Dragon Ball Z. ShenLong has taken Kikuchi to a better place. We will miss you Kikuchi-san. Thank you for your musical contributions in anime.
