There was never any doubt.

Surprised Aniplex didn't give this the super special awesome anime set release. Would have been perfect.

Who's saying they won't? This is just a simulcast announcement. Aniplex will surely do a fancy box set when the time comes.

The actual air date has not been announced....right?

It's still possible, but I feel like they would have confirmed Fall already if it was going to happen.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a very early (Dec.) Winter air date

My bet is a fall premiere , the winter season starts in January in Japan and the show is confirmed to be a 2021 release.

So no on Crunchyroll? First Kaguya-Sama season 2, then TPN (awful) season 2 and now this. How could CR able to get Magia Record, the Aniplex anime while not Demon Slayer?

Because Magia Record is a throw-away title that Aniplex can share with CR and HiDIVE.
