I don't have any experience with Kaori Yuki's older works but I really enjoyed the three volumes of Alice in Murderland that I read, so I should probably pick this one up at some point too. When I first heard of it I thought it would just end up being Beauty and the Beast done in manga form but I'm glad the review stresses how it's an amalgamation of other fairy tales, it makes it seem a lot more appealing (and I learned something new with ATU numbers!)

Always happy to see the Aarne–Thompson–Uther Index pop up when I don't expect it. Smile

Don't you always expect it when Rebecca's writing a manga review though?? (it's a feature and I love it, by the way!!) Kaori Yuki's manga is particularly well-matched to Rebecca's deep familiarity with fairy tales and ability to identify the many, many influences she always weaves together into (somewhat?) cohesive stories :) I appreciate the inside look at all those threads going into this new work!
