Doesn't seem like it is a remake.
I would definitely support a remake.
Or is it?

New Please Teacher! animation!? In this day and age!?
I hope they bring the original cast back, whether this is a remake or sequel.
(I kind of miss the "Onegai" series...Waiting in the Summer really scratched that itch)

Do we really need a remake of this one? I mean, it got it right the first time.

Waiting in the Summer is the remake in many ways.

Well..that's unexpected.
I'm curious how many episodes it is because otherwise any "remake" is going to feel rushed. I'd rather see new stories in the old continuity. Then again, we'll probably never get this in the west since it seems like practically no OVA's get licensed out anymore...

Really, it's Studio M2 being in charge of the animation production that's got me shocked the most.

RIP to the OG studio Daume.
Nice to see Maruyama's M2 pop out again.
