That means it’ll take until 2028 or later for international audiences to see the film. Damn.

Looking forward to season 2, even if it’ll only be 10 episodes. Hopefully Engi can maintain the same quality as season one.

No chance of a western release then?

The second season haven't even aired yet and they already announced a sequel movie is coming.

Anyway, the series is under Disney in the west so the chances of this getting a western release is 0%. Such a shame coz I really love the manga.

I'm surprised a movie was announced before season 2 was finished. I mean Apothecary Diaries essentially did something similar but that was because it's in-between two cours.

This makes me worry about season 2, especially with ENGI's track tecord. Hopefully the production wasn't affected too badly by the movie

Well, if we couldn't get Ice Adolescence, I'd still be happy with this. I'm a little surprised they announced a movie this early, but I enjoyed the first season so I'll look forward to it.

If Disney hasn't even announced the second season (which starts next Saturday), then all hopes for the movie releasing outside Japan are gone, right?

That's great news, gives me hope they might adapt even more. I'm all here for a third season!

Makes me wonder what they'll adapt into the movie though. Season 2 spoiler[will probably only adapt the upcomming tournament. Not sure how much more they can adapt in ten epsidoes if they keep up the pacing of the first season. Unless, of course, they throw that all over board.] And for the movie, spoiler[, if they keep the pacing, we'll probably get the training in between tournaments. Which gives me hope we might see chapter 25 as the part of the movie? That would be amazing.]

Surprised by the early announcement since the 2nd season hasn't even started yet, but while I'd rather get another season, it is good that more is coming regardless.
