These are fun! Loved all of the Street Fighter ones when we got those plus the McDonalds color alts in Street Fighter 6. Don't know if there's a Gunpla or figure plan here, but the 7-11 color version of the R-X78-2 AKA the original Gundam is... interesting let's say ha ha!

My guess is that it's a deliberate imperfection to make it look more 'artisanal' than the perfectly shaped buns you expect from mass-produced fast food. Of course, since it is the same bump, you lose the effect of making it appear handcrafted. Food photos have been a staged thing for a long time, but at least somebody thought to rotate the bun on one of them so the bump was on the other side.
