Hoping they re-release the entire Nanoha franchise, both the TV series and the movies.
Oh, and DNA² and Earl and Fairy while they're at it. |

It is slightly ironic that Justin allowed himself to be the literal posterchild for "It is not, and never will be, Saint Seiya.", via an image of himself with that caption being posted by the official Discotek account back in 2023, only to now be literally selling Saint Seiya on his own webstore, on behalf of Discotek.
Sometimes, anime can truly be a "Never Say Never" business. |

Nanoha was not on their list of out of print titles so it'll mostly likely be added sometime soon, as for DNA² and Earl & Fairy unless Discotek announces they're doing SD bluray releases for 'em those are unlikely given all their DVD releases are out of print, your only hope currently is if they somehow find some excess stock of 'em. |

I appreciate this program, but are there any plans to put a few of these titles on sale? Right now they're all listed at MSRP and I can't justify spending that much right now.

The MediaOCD Store is still relatively new, all things considered, so they can't have sales on a regular basis, like Right Stuf, Crunchyroll Store, or even Sentai's own webstore did or do. They did have a holiday sale at the end of 2025, so sales are possible, and I imagine over time there will be more sales on occasion, as the store grows & becomes used by more anime fans. They also do offer some older Discotek releases on clearance for when they're out of print & they just want to sell off any remaining stock. |

Yeah, while sadly the earlier Nanoha titles (original, A's, and both movies) isn't on their deep dives yet, the chances they could be at some point for future deep dives (that, and its not on their OOP master list means there's still a chance). But if its any consideration, StrikerS is available on MediaOCD's store, while Vivid Strike is available on both Amazon and MediaOCD. But at least all of Symphogear is back.
And yeah, as what Lord Geo said, there's a chance MediaOCD will do another big sale down the road, along with the newer titles they'll have released over time incldued. I mean, yeah, some of their titles have a big MSRP attached to them, but wait it out. Anything they have from Sentai Filmworks though, you can just go to the Sentai store, as they currently have their Summer Sale going on. Cause those prices are too much and close to MSRP (even with a slight discount) if they're already cheaper over there. (Even though a few titles they have, some of those are probably unavailable from Sentai's store currently unless otherwise noted. They could have done price matching, but oh well.) |

Yeah. I was looking yesterday, since I might as well get a head start on not using the CR store, and had a similar reaction to Top Gun with the prices. But, I did remind myself of what you said just now. If it helps, they do have free shipping for orders of $100+, which is better than dropping that as a thing like a certain other store is doing. And they do have a points program that is pretty decent. One of the items in my order was paid by the points, so I can appreciate that they are trying. |

This is another thing to really consider, as you get 1 point on the MediaOCD store for every dollar you spend, so big orders accumulate points very quickly, which can then be used to save money next time. It used to be that you could use points directly for purchases, but after looking over my account it seems like they instead now have you can convert your points into a discount coupon, with a transfer rate of $1 for every 10 points. So if you spend $200 on a purchase you then are able to convert those 200 points you earned into a $20 off coupon for your next purchase, which is pretty damn good, honestly. |

Depending on prices and shipping. I might switch from buying from Amazon to MediaOCD. One thing I wish they would do that Rightstuf uses to do was ship weeks before the pre-order release date. That would help offset the free Amazon shipping on everything I buy. I don't see why that wouldn't be just an agreement between the publishers and MediaOCD just like this

I checked out MediaOCD the other day and their Sentai Filmworks shows are double the price from how much they are on Amazon. Plus if you got Prime like me, you get overnight to two day shipping. It's excellent. I think the only other place I'd buy anime from would be the Crunchyroll Store for Aniplex titles. Alot of them can't be found anywhere else and if so it's usually two or three times more expensive. Your Lie in April is $100 on CR but $200 to $300 on eBay. |

Yeah, while it is nice that they have expanded and are selling Sentai titles, I do think something needs to be worked out between them when it comes to pricing. If every other store Sentai uses has lower prices, it's not going to lead to much sales for MediaOCD. |

Yeah, as I've brought it up before, their prices on Sentai Filmworks titles are kinda pricey on the MediaOCD store. But the Sentai store has their sale going on with most of their titles on very low discounts with a few unavailable that at least the MediaOCD store has stock with.
But yes, they need to work on the pricing for those titles and probably price match what the Sentai store has, both when they do and don't have sales going on. Do that, and they can get business selling those. |
