I was afraid two episodes in that they were going back to a more "normal" Bang Dream vibe, but turns out they are using the more silly moments (which are mostly in the VR space) to contrast with the absolute mundane internet terror of having a very dedicated hater that is out to destroy your life. The final shot of episode 5 with the "picture" getting burned away is downright unsettling.
Like, this is an insane visual to drop for a band anime. I was sure it was fan made at first. |

Normal compared to bastard aunt in love with her niece.
Also I cannot believe that the whole vore-vibe of the promo image from last week ended up kinda working it's way into the anime with the sundaes eating scene. Like yeah, they all have animal motifs and Viola is the snake, slithering into the garden through Miyako. |
