Geocities just doesn't allow you to hotlink images on their servers... so you can't post the image into another website.

We don't permit it either, at the end of the month when we pay the bandwidth bill, the extra $$$ for other people toput our images on their websites and in other forums isn't money I'm happy spending.

no, you don't. but you would've been costing Geocities money, if they let you link the picture.
