Dark Warrior
Makyu Senjo

It's pretty obvious, given that the alternate title in Dark Warrior is misromanized as Makyo Senjo, and both releases use the same cover art, outside of the title treatment.

The former was the US ADV release, the latter was the Manga UK release, hence, different dubs.

The disaster of adding/approving titles without the knowledge of the original title in Japanese (sigh). I took cared of that penguin; any suggestion on how to merge Makyū Senjō properly, without having to add precision tags for each role manually?

Hmm. There isn't any way to add more than one dub per language, is there? Because I know of at least 25 shows that have multiple English versions. (Mostly UK releases)

No, there isn't—not until the language options get fixed (a sore point with dormcat).

Err—they appear to be two different series with the same title. Toshiue no Hito (manga by R. Amazume) (年上ノ彼女; #5547) seems to be a seinen sex comedy[1] ,while Toshiue no Hito (manga by H. Toribito) (年上の人—note that the Japanese titles differ in "spelling"; #5548) is published by Biblos, which specialized in boy's love manga. Plus the latter has a subtitle of "成層圏の灯"[2], and a different cover[3].

I'm embarassed to even know this, but...

Night Shift Nurses: RN's Revenge is episodes 3-5, Night Shift Nurses: Clinical Confessions (OAV) is episodes 6-7 and Night Shift Nurses: Carnal Corruption (OAV) is episodes 8-9 of Night Shift Nurses. These are merely volume titles, like any other anime series.

Karte 5.5 is also just the recap episode, which was not released in the States. Ep#10 was never licensed either (due to a lovely scene involving a vacuum cleaner), but there are 11 eps to the series in total.

The others are, in fact, actual spin-offs/retellings/sequels.

Actually, it has been, with episode 10.5 due out next month.
