Note: someone on AnimeX.Com posted a report from notes he took at this meeting. Users will have to sign up (free) to read. To me, the most interesting thing he said was his comment/complaint that anime producers are more and more imitating Hollywood film producers and tend to value 'movement' -- which means 'action' I guess -- over story, "and so you get things like The Matrix Part Three." Much audience laughter at this comment.

I really wanted to go see this on campus but couldn't make it. I'm looking forward to Allen Diver's report on it. It would have been cool to meet them too.

o.o hey I love a powerfull story built into a high action movie or series. I'll remain a Shirow fan ^^
But don't give up hope on me, I'm watching gasaraki, kare kano and i have naruto and kimagure orange road on the shelf to be watched next. I do love a good story and action only goes so far for me, but I love it too.
