Aaahh I see, one episode at 11 and another at 11:30, sorry, I was in a bit of a rush, had to head off to work...third shift sucks, thank god for DVR ! I just misread the date for the 11:30 episode, my apologies.

Just want to bump this thread to say that you can download the first 2 episodes of Gurren Lagann on iTunes for free. It'll tide you over until the next 2 episodes air on Monday.

Me neither, since I was watching a Scifi show last night and the commercial for ani-monday was Ninja Scroll. Damn misleading commercials.

WOOHOO it is finally back. Some ass kicking, and some interesting scenes ! Can't wait until next week. I wonder what it would of been like if spoiler[ Kamina and Nia had ever met, what would they of thought of each other. Hmm.]
Spiral King must be badass, he has the power of the harem pigpile !! It's good to be King ! I wonder if there are beastmen bunny girls...lol. |

I was psyched for this show and ten episodes in I only know that I'm not putting money down for this show on DVD.
Sorry to say but I don't care about anyone in this show. This is a first for me and a gainax property. |

Yes there was, but were they beastmen bunny girls, or just cheap normal girls with bunny suits ??!?! Anyways man, it was just supposed to be amusing, not taken seriously. That chick in the newest 2 episodes freaked me out a little, she a scorpion ? I did not know scorpions were so fond of water.

I was concerned about Nia's dubbed voice, but I no longer have any reservations. It sounds just fine. The kind of fierce determination she shows in episode 10, combined with her learning curve, is what really endeared her to me when I watched the subbed episodes on DVD.
Favorite Nia line: "you must be a pissed-off person!" (Or something like that.) |

i can't wait to see how Yuri Lowenthal pulls off the big moment in next week's episode. it's one of my favorite anime scenes ever. |
