Bought Cynthia the Mission volumes 4-9. I like this series quite a bit because it is pretty comparable to Spider Sniper.

Box came today...
Pretty excited about all of these actually. Gankutsuou is a series I have put off for far too long, and the rest are filling up my boxes. Tokyo Majin, I admit, is one I am totally buying because of the advertisement and the age rating. Hopefully it will work out. And on the back of one of the manhwa it says this guy is the Korean version of Tezuka. So if there is any truth in advertising at all, it should at least be decent. |

Made a last minute order to get in on the Funi sale...
School Rumble Season One Box Set Received some money as a birthday gift, so I put it to good use. That'll most like likely be my last order until I can find another job. |

http://www.hmv.co.jp/en/product/detail/2706860 According to this page, these are the specs: Region Code : 2 (Japan) Spoken language : English, Japanese Subtitles : English, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Chinese, Indonesian, Audio Commentary(Japanese), Others Sound : English - Dolby Digital 5.1 Ch Surround, Japanese - Dolby Digital 5.1 Ch Surround Worryingly, the cover graphic has only English on it, so I'm taking a bit of a gamble, but Japanese prefer foreign product to be dubbed, so I'm not too worried. I'll find out in a couple of weeks (I ordered something else with a longer delivery time). Just bought: Shuffle! collection 2 and cheap 1st volumes of Beck, Ergo Proxy and Witchblade for sampling purposes. |

Beyond some of the subtitle tracks and, of course, the region, it doesn't look at all different from the R1 release. Got me Burn Up!, Burn Up Scramble V.1-3 w/box, Ayakashi Samurai Horror Tales V.3, They Were Eleven and pre-ordered World of Narue. |

Just got in a big box today.
Utawarerumono 1-6 with artbox Venus Versus Virus 1-3 with artbox Shattered Angel complete series Baccano 3 School Rumble Ova Dojin Work # 3 The Third: The Girl with the Blue Eye There was a thread in the Anime forum about backlogs, mine just a lot bigger with about 14 episodes of Utawarerumono, 8 or so of Shattered Angels, and another 4 of Baccano. ( I blew through the 40 minutes of animation on Dojin work tonight already, funny but short, and kinda a ripoff unless you adore long live action extras). Justice! Sora! |

Is that a new thinpak? Narue is actually one of my faves. It's not mind-blowing, but just nice and enjoyable and well made. Edit: The whole set for $16? Wow. |

That's the older CPM version. ADV recently picked it up and that is probably the version _Emi_ preordered. It's not the kind of show that's likely to make anyone's list of favorites, but for whatever reason it's just easy to watch and enjoy. |

I agree, it was one of the first series I rented, and overall (after having watched a bunch of mediocre series), it was good. The opening animination still sticks out in my mind as kinda throwing off a weird vibe. I will buy most anything under $20, but I liked this series, and kinda like Serial Experiments Lain, my desire for a rewatch at some point is low. It will probably end up on my shelf at some point though. |
