I'd love to support Manga, but I didn't spend a load of money on a home theatre system to watch DVDs if I can help it.

I get you, but I may opt for the u.k. DVD over the u.s. Blu-ray in this case because I don't think Spice and Wolf is all that visually spectacular to begin with, yeah the opening's really nice and I like the character designs, but it's not super high budget and my BD player has a good upscaler anyway.
