Nude or not, I have no regrets. Although, I really wish nude art was more widely appreciated given how fracking amazing and worth celebrating the human body is. I've never really understood why society recognizes someone's arm or big toe as being an entirely "safe" body feature, but a nipple or sex organ is identified as shameful and needs to be hidden away. |

ESPN Magazine's 2012 "Body" Issue
I wonder how many parents were shocked when they searched for a photo of this year's US Womens' Olympic Water Polo team, as I and my daughter did one day, and found this at the top of the list of images. Neither of us were shocked (my daughter is nearly 21), but I can imagine it might have a been a different story in more conservative households where a mom and her ten-year-old daughter were looking for a team photo online. 2012 ESPN cover-boy Rob Gronkowski, a tight-end for the New England Patriots football team, got a bit of attention some months back when he appeared shirtless in a photo alongside porn star Bibi Jones apparently wearing nothing but his football jersey. The source of the photo was Ms. Jones herself. The Pats' owner, 71-year-old Bob Kraft, said that Gronkowski's picture was okay with him. Then, a few months later, Kraft himself appeared in a video with his 32-year-old girlfriend who was auditioning for a movie role. I doubt the casting director was especially impressed with either of their performances. |

The Patriots organization mounted a campaign to remove all the copies of the Kraft video when it was released, but for some reason this copy persists. I have no other knowledge of what is on that site. |
