Well my birthday is coming up in two days and i was planning on buying one or two anime dvds. dose anyone have any suggestions on any great anime t.v. shows or movies I should buy on dvd?

What you buy is your own descision (in fact, asking us I think qualifies as a reccomendation thread, which isn't allowed)- but right now the where makes a HUGE difference.
TRSI extended their 10/25 sale through the 30th. Basically, you pick from the sale list- 10 DVDs for $50 or 25 for $100. It's mostly older titles, but it's a good way to get a couple full series on the cheap. Just be sure you check prices- some titles are already $4/5 apiece (same price as the sale), and a few a bit cheaper elsewhere... Namely, deepdiscount.com and their 25% off all DVDs and blu-ray until August 2nd. (No preorders, and you need a coupon code which can only be used once per account... check britannicamoore's thread for a list of codes.) Once again, a great way to get a few shows cheap- including some that don't often go on sale, and you're not fully limited to anime either. You should look into it. |
