I was just wondering if they're going to be doing something like a conclusion to the series because the last movie left a lot hanging.

If they were, I'm sure we would have heard about it by now.
I prefer to go by the TV ending...
The Nadesico takes the core that allows the Boson Jumping, and jumps to the other side of the Galaxy or something, so that the war between the Jovians and Earth can only fight with conventional means.

There's a Dreamcast Game called The Mission that is set after the "Movie" and supposedly wraps everything up.
I know nothing about it though.

Here is some images from the game. You can buy it off Ebay here but it is a Japanese import so it wouldn't be translated into English... I don’t know if an English version was released.

To completely follow the Nadesico storyline, you need to watch the TV series, then play the first game, then watch the movie, then play the second game.
There is a novelization of the first game available, but I don't think it's been translated.
