Has anyone else ever grabbed a show that you passed up on back when it aired, only to find out a few episodes in that it wasn't even the show you were thinking of?
I've only done it once or twice long ago, and once again recently so it's not horribly bad. But it's still pretty embarrassing when you realize the mistake you made.

Yes, several years ago back when I still wasn't fully aware of every little show that was about to premiere in a season and also before I embraced every bit of what was simulcasted. I was curious about Book of Bantorra in fall 2009 which wasn't even licensed at the time and searched for it on Youtube, only to find and watch episodes of Heaven's Lost Property. I didn't realize exactly how one show was different from the other nor did I even know the premise for either one.
But now I know and knowing is half the battle.

back when i found out full metal panic was out i watched Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu first , laughed my ass off, fell in love with it before realizing that it was not the normal first season. and then found out that the normal series was not a comedy and was mostly a mecha action show and being disappointed.
