I was a little skeptical at first, like a show about tennis, common, but wow, this show is really kicka$$. I mean third episode and it's already sick. Who else loves this show as much as I do?

I watched the first episode and can't get any further. Downloads won't show up (yes, I'm aware this is illegal and no I'm not 'requesting' anything. I don't believe saying the d word in that context is a violation. ).
Anyway, from the first episode the main character is kind of irritating, and the side female girl is doubly as much. I hear there are good characters, so I want to see it, but it doesn't seem that great from the first episode. It seemed mediocre. :B
It just annoys me that the main character is already at the top. ._. He doesn't seem to have any problems and he's this super tennis star who's 'unbeatable' and has 'lyk mega skillz lolz' even against those more experienced than him. It just makes it boring, and makes him seem more arrogant than he is.
That's just me though. I downloaded in the first place because I was interested, so it's probably really good.

Haha, don't worry about that stuff. It all gets better once you meet the Seigaku regulars. I'll say this now, Fuji and Tezuka pawns all. I won't ruin the rest of the anime, but I'll just say that Fuji's Tsuba Megishi is just pure amazing (though pyshics knows it's impossible.) Just watch for Fuji's triple counters (that'll keep things interesting).

Somewhere beyond the story being told is a more interesting movie happening off-screen.― There are two types of films I find frustrating to talk about. The first are films that almost made me cry. It's one thing to discuss a bad movie that was mean-spirited or arrogant, because then I have no reservations about riffing on it. But when something doesn't hit me after wearing its heart on its sleeve, I...

BOMHAT’s world is well thought out and existentially horrifying if one considers its details too closely.― It's been over two years since I reviewed the first volume of Canadian author BOMHAT's gorgeous dark fantasy manga A Kingdom of Quartz, and re-reading it to prepare for reviewing its remaining four volumes reminded me of why I loved it so much in the first place.
