But why is it a recap of the entire episode? And why this series? Will every series have a recap of every episode? Sure, ANN staff can publish whatever they want, but I'm not sure I get the point. Why a News article and not an addition to the Preview Guide? Why not a review? Why a single episode?

I'm just wondering.

They posted a synopsis so that you could watch this ONA and have an idea of what is going on. Since there are no subtitles. I was thankful for it at least. I would have understood most of it, but without the synopsis I definitely would have missed the joke at the end.

Somewhat back on topic: that ED is very fun and catchy! It might be better than the OP or ED for the actual show ^^

ethos711 is right. We posted the full summary for the first episode in this short series (although KyoAni has since taken down the video).

This series of anime shorts is not getting any official English-subtitled stream, so we thought it would be helpful to post a summary of the episodes so those who can't understand Japanese can at least get a general idea of what's going on. Yes, some of the episode is quite self-explanatory and a full summary probably wasn't needed, but we still thought it would be helpful. We only translate summaries in news articles for videos that we believe need them to aid those who can't understand Japanese.

As a reference, they did this with the first season Lites too.
As the new one goes up, the previous old one comes down.
