With how the manga is, it's hard to imagine this as live action when an animated series would have been a better route.

One thing of note I just realized is that the guy playing Shun Takahata (Sōta Fukushi) is the same guy who played Gentaro in Kamen Rider Fourze. First time I've really seen him without the pompadour looking thing.
While I don't know anything about the original work I will say I am excited just because it is a Takashi Miike movie, I usually find his interesting. |
