In Italian, we call characters like those showed in the trailer "truzzi". I think Japanese think the same way. Twisted Evil

LOL this is amazing. I've seen one where they're on a safari Laughing

I don't get the hate, the trailer looks sick and I am even more hyped for the game! The nice Audi or whatever they're driving is great, you can't take those chicken wings to go while riding a chocobo!!

I don't know about hate, but I feel a huge disconnect between cruising in a convertible and fighting magical monsters with B.A. swords. I keep waiting for them to whip out a semi-automatic loaded with magicked bullets or hand grenades, something along those lines rather than the old school hardware.

Urban Fantasy is a thing you know. And it's one of my favorite genres so I'm loving the aesthetic behind this game.

FF6 had a guy who used modern-esk tools as weapons.
FF7 had multiple people with guns, one which was strapped to his arm and motorcycles, trucks and helicopters.
FF8 had a guy who used a machine gun and you could get a car.

I think people just nitpick on FF for the hell of it.

Dammit i love the Muv-Luv community, it's about time we started doing cool shit like this. I am so happy right now.

The game is set in the modern era. It would be weird if it didn't have a car and such. The whole concept is what if monsters and all these fantasy elements were dropped into the modern world?

Exactly, I find it difficult forget VII's motorcycle chase scene. I feel like it's not worth criticizing XV's car (let alone the game itself, but that's a bit of a stretch) considering we've seen so little of anything. As far as I'm aware, we don't know if it's game element or simply part of a cutscene, right?

The issue is that the vehicle looks like a VERY clean Luxury car that is not being effected by the rather blatant desert environment.

If we assume these guys are adventurers, shouldn't they be in some sort of Jeep or Humvee?

Sounds like a regular day in the game Resonance of Fate ( the part about semi-autos and grenades).

Anyway this game looks great and I find the photoshops really funny (the Initial D one cracked me up, and the drive-thru one is oddly fitting). Besides, it's a group of stylish guys in a sporty, modern looking car fighting very fantasy-ish monsters. The bizarreness of it all is too good an opportunity to pass up.

Why is the party a big bro fest? unless there is some sort of Yaoi option going on(doubtful for an FF release) I want there to be enough of a playable female cast to fill out a limo.
