I know this is nitpicky, but I gotta ask -- why do you keep traslating "Dōshi" as "Fon Master"? That was the translation used for Tales of the Abyss, yes, but the whole "fons" thing is limited to the Abyss universe, right? I remember reading in a fansite (Abyssal Chronicles) and on Siliconera that Namco's official translation for the term is "Shepherd". I'm not saying this to nag, I'm genuinely curious -- is there any reason for using "Fon Master"?
Anyway, I don't expect this to be any masterpiece (are "Tales of" anime adaptations/spin offs/side stories ever?), but it looks like a fine fantasy adventure to end the year with.

Because as you said, it's the exact same kanji combination from Tales of Abyss. Since Fon Master (I hate that term, personally) is the official translation from the American release, I'm going with that until we get English material with official translations.
