Might be Urobutchi's fault, but every time a description includes 'heartwarming', I imagine things anything but...

The spirits' designs remind me somewhat the art style of one of the Zelda games, and I'm not even sure why.

This art style isn't really resonating with me. These character designs don't draw my interest.

I love the slight highlights within the characters' hair. They make them look more spiritual, IMO.
