the games look fun but the only thing i dont like is that youre literally playing as Kirito. If u were an avatar that fought alongside him or hell even against him itd be more appealing for me.

Tho im gonna make a wild biased guess and say romancing the female characters played a part in deciding this entry port

By better translation do they mean actually good, or just slightly less bad.

Actually, in this game you can choose the greater majority of characters from the SAO universe from Asuna to Sinon to Alicia Rue to main as and have in your party.

Romancing in the first two games was bizarre. Princess carrying girls to your bed and having random illegible conversations with them while lying down. In fact most of the first two games was bizarre.

As you say would have been good to not play Kirito.
