Is he sick or something? Because so many hiatus are kind of worrying D: I hope he's okay, and can work in the anime coming on Autumn with his character designs.

That's unfortunate to hear. I really love this manga, but if this hiatus is as long as the last one we'll never see any progress in the story.

Gender issues or not, I think having 3 hiatuses for a work that started less than 2 years ago is something to be concerned about. However, this is minute compared to hiatuses that irregularly-schedule works (009, One Pound Gospel, and, of course, HxH) have had.
