Yes, they're clearly trolling intentionally.
The funny thing is that anime staff still hiding the fact that the series is the zombie apocalypse series and not the simple CGDCT-slice.

Thats what Ch1 of the manga did, it had a lot of impact for some people. They probs trying to recreate it for the people who have somehow managed to avoid the spoilers.
