This being America and all, in the hype of the often adored and often ignored reality based programming, maybe it's time for anime to jump on the band wagon and really put itself in the spotlight.
If it were at all possible for anime to hold it's own Anime Survior: (Insert name of South Pacific island here), who would be the perfect 16 participants and who win and why. Some other points for thought, what would the names of the two tribes be and what competitions would be held between them for prizes, what would the prizes be? |

It'd be better if there were more characters, since there are a heck of a lot of great anime characters and well....while there are a bunch of unknown losers looking for their 15 minutes, its not like I could pick a few out from the crowd who id want to see...but anime characters...how could i even dare make a list as short as 16? Also, if voting were done daily 64 characetrs would still go faster than one season of survivor. Perhaps a character contest is needed here on ANN. GameFAQs sure has a great one.
Anyway if I could ONLY pick 16... D (VHD) Madoka Ayukawa (Kimagure Orange Road) Kanada (Akira) Lupin III (Lupin III) Vash the Stampede (Trigun) Faye Valentine (CB) Goku (DBZ) Ryoko (Tenchi Muyo) Ranma (Ranma 1/2) Lum (Urusei Yatsura) Inu Yasha (IY) Haruko (FLCL) Kenshiro (Fist of the North Star) Lynn Minmei (Robotech/Macross) Ashitaka (Mononoke Hime) Naruto (Naruto) My bets for the final 4 (cant say a winner for sure) D, Naruto, Faye, Vash. DBZ is so love it or hate it now that I doubt goku would do that well, plus it seems anyone who has started to consider themselves a "serious" anime fan in the last 2-3 years seems to think DBZ is the worst anime ever....and that because like when the used to watch DBZ they dont know everythign about anime. Trust me, I can name plenty of anime that are far worse than DBZ and so many that are far better that neuvo-otaku just wouldnt understand the greatness of. |

Even after just posting not too long ago im already thinking of other awesome characters that deserve to be in, like alucard from hellsing and excel from excel saga....see, 16 just isnt enough...

Monkey D Luffy (One Piece) - He has the determination, and cool Gum Gum Powers to make it to the final 4 Excel (Excel Saga) - Comic relief Legato (Trigun) - Newly revived and ready to see everyone on the Island terminated D (VHD) - Did I mention Legato came back as a vampire Largo (Megatokyo) - Not technically an anime character but ph34r his 1337 n3k1d sk1||z Nekki Basara (Macross 7) - Every Island needs Music Lyn Minmay (Robotech Version) - So basara doesn't get shot Utena (movie version) - To add more confusion to the mix Takumi (Initial D) - To Drive Utena Xellos (Slayers) - Why I want him is a secret Blanka (Street Fighter) - To fight Mankinds greatest menace on it's own terms Pikachu (Pokemon) - Mankinds greatest mennace Bolt Crank (Eat-Man) - Them Pikachus shure is tasty.... and Lethal Ami (Sailor Moon) - You will see why I want her in a moment Beldandy (Ah My Goddess) - wait for it.... Tenticle Monster (La Blue Girl) - There it is Please note that all characters would be at least 18 or older before entering such competition... I'm not sick...... |

The thing is there has to be a balance, a different kind of character for each slot. I think Excel, Sephiroth(or Vegeta), and Shinji should be staples, all defferentyet interesting. Just think of it, Excel would bug the hell out of Shinji to the point where it would blow his allready delusionally warped mind and he would take his own life, making everyone HAPPY. Inuyasha is a good pick, but we can't have too many anti-heros. Faye is a good one too, as is Belldandy.
Fun Loving- Excel Deppressed- Shinji Philisophical madman- Sephiroth Slutty one- Faye (Dont deny it!!) Calm,assertive on- Belldandy Stuck-up Ant-hero- Inuyasha Al we need are opoites and 4 others. |

Anime Survivor! This was an awesome idea.
Tribe 1: Okonomiyaki Tribe 1.)Vegeta- for his accepting and forgiving personality 
2.) GTO- Someone's gotta keep those kids in line. 3.)Excel- Just to make Vegeta angry 4.) Joey/Jounouchi (Yu-Gi-Oh!)- He can be the leading team Duelist. 5.) King Kashu- Dramatic-Speech making ability (Team spokesperson) 6.) Sasami- she can cook 7.) Nicholas D. Wolfwood- knows his way around life. And he's got one big-ass gun. 8.) Nabiki-handle the team's funds Tribe 2: Team Pancake 1.) A Little Snow Fairy Named Sugar- team cute-thing...and she can make waffles 2.) Mako Tsunami/ Ryouta Kajiki- Is one with the ocean, and being in the South Pacific.... 3.)Tuxedo Mask- his stalking skills allow him to watch the other team's progress 4.) LupinIII-escaping could come in handy....and stealing 5.)Mr. Pedro (Excel Saga)- team pessimist 6.) Tatewaki Kuno-Do we need a reason for Kuno? 7.)Motoko Aoyama- to keep Kuno and Tuxedo Mask in line 8.) Hamtaro-last food resort for the team |

You people just dont learn do you,are you looking to get banned or what? Honestly how many more of these topic do we need,I know they can be fun every once in a while but recently there has been a surge of them.Also I know Im be a spoil sport but I dont care so there. |

MonkeyDluffy4 didn't make a thread anything like battleroyale he had 2 person fights. Battle royale is where they put a bunch of people on an island, where they are forced to kill eachother and if in 3 days there is more than one person left than they are all killed. Monkey's was just like a fighting game, and you cant say it wasn't mature enough for cookie, he let it go for a while and locked it when it stopped contributing to the forum. |

as I said earlier, if its to be done 16 characters is hardly enough...In my haste I forgot a whole bunch of cool characters, and as I thought many came to mind...Kenshin for one. Just too hard to only pick 16.
