Extremely disappointing.
I was there on Saturday. Can someone tell me why this thing charges a fee to enter? It's only a glorified shopping pseudo-mall. There is no other reason to enter. Events? I counted 3, one is photos are some baseball girls, two is a photos with some nendo like mascots. 3 a typical Japanese talk show like thing with 3 of the main fate voice actors, extremely boring btw. I find no valid justification to charge and extrance fee (unless it's the pamphlets they give you which are nothing more than advertisements, there were only one plastic file and anime character cardboard mask the best "free stuff they give") . This time foreigners like me paid the fee with an insignificant pitiful 200 yen discount 1500 to 1300 yen discount. I saw several foreigners that beloved the free entrance for foreigners was still valid this year but not anymore. I also saw like 2 or 3 exclusive event items. Cosplaying? Almost not existent save the a very few of the girls booths and few girl the general public. This is also only the hard-core moe|fanservice Otaku and fujoshi. All in all it felt like a total waste of my time, I wanted to leave so early and instead go to the temples, but having paid the entrance fee, wanted to hang around a little more to see if there was at least something decent but nope. |
