It’s A-1 Pictures.... so, of course it looks bad.
The again, A-1 isn’t really a studio- they have no core staff, instead a building of freelancers working for the production committee at Aniplex.
The director has a decent track record, so I’m hoping it turns out all right, but A-1 shows never do it for me...

Looks waaaaaay closer to what Production I.G. gave us in game, than previous OVA from A-1. Definitely better artstyle than OVA
