I wonder what exactly happened that limited the territories CR could simulcast those shows. These days it's so common for them to stream in all the English-speaking countries, if not worldwide minus Asia.

It is all the more odd that both of those are from GONZO, which was one of the earliest companies to work with CR (back in 2008, before they went fully legit).

I've also seen information indicating Space Battleship Tiramisu will be a short series (10 minutes per episode). If that is correct, it just adds more fuel to the "Why only the US and Canada?" fire.

People say that it’s the same case with Love Live Sunshine S2, GARO, and BBBB where it was announced for US and Canada initially and then more territories were available later. But this is Gonzo and not sure how credible it is but apparently they have blacklisted (or has started to blacklist) certain regions for simulcast, Latin America being one of the first since Akiba’s Trip.
