I'm a little bit annoyed at all of the stuff coming out that's Generation I only. I understand these games were made in response to the hype from Pokémon GO, but it's a bit much.

The core games coming out will likely be Gen 8. LGP/E were originally rumored to be remakes of Yellow (those are your and your rival's starters), and those are two of the most popular Pokemon anyway.
As for Quest, it's obviously going to expand. I'm guessing each gen will have its own island or set of islands. It's F2P, and their other F2P Pokemon games have expanded, so it makes sense that they'd start with Gen 1. Also, the previously most recent Pokemon game, Detective Pikachu, has plenty of Alolan Pokemon in it, as well as Gens 2-6, so it's not like that one is focusing just on Kanto. |

True. I hadn't thought about it expanding as time goes on. If it does, then I hope it at least goes at a faster rate than Pokémon GO.
