Not really familiar with the work of the director. Anouncing it for August seems kinda... soon. I don't know if we can expect some great visuals.

If I were to guess, it might be that sort of 3D Toriyama Animation style used in things like the I-III Wii Collection

Good choice in using DQV as the basis of the film, considering how epic in scope the narrative is.
