Fun as it is to blame victims of sexual misconduct for everything even tangentially related to them (I HOPE I DON'T NEED TO CLARIFY THAT THIS IS SARCASM), please take note that this is Kameha Con UK, which is not necessarily the same organization as the Kameha Con that's been previously discussed on ANN.
Given that the organization themselves have said this is not directly to do with fans, it's more likely this shutdown is due to the PR disaster of being associated – even just nominally – with the American Kameha Con. I really don't blame them for choosing to cancel after THAT shitshow. |

What are you talking about? KamehaCon US did record breaking numbers in both attendance and revenue compared to the previous one. Only people who didn't actually go to the convention are labeling KamehaCon as a "disaster" or a "shitshow" because of some Twitter drama they don't like, which is silly. |
