That's kinda too bad. It seems like it could have much more story... but admittedly had also painted itself into a corner by spoiler[sending Shutaro back to Tokyo].
It seems like they'll probably effectively finish his story but to me there's a lot more they could do with Nina... who seems like she should be the bigger focus. She still has a weirdly affectionate but absent mother. A father who was never even dealt with. Innocent but complicated dreams of being a Voice Actress (and what was probably a serious offer by a scout to be a model). Friends and adventures galore could continue. Really, they could just restart it as a manga that actually DOES focus more on Nina. (admittedly though- I'm a month or two behind on the simulpub- maybe it's magically dealt with everything.  )
