Agreed. Or if they do want a temporary change from canon they will find a reasonable excuse for it. How many times have we seen anime characters behave uncharacteristically because they were drunk, possessed, etc?

Even if it's temporary, it still kinda ruins it. One scene is all it takes. Seeing the cool and calm Ais act out will just make it weird
