I feel like Rachel is an old character from their games... Perhaps Ninja Gaiden as well? Has she not shown up in Dead or Alive before?

She was in DoA5
This plus the Venus Vacation crossover makes it nice to see DoA embracing it's core values again.

Yeah, I've no clue what Koei Tecmo's strategy there was. If they wanted to steer away from fan service and focus on other aspects of the franchise, fine, but them not making up their minds on what they wanted to do really hurt them with DOA6.
