Interesting news.

Appears Yostar has some pretty big plans. Hopefully it works out for them. Maybe it will spur Kancolle to adapt and work out it's own difficulties.

I myself just started playing the game right before Christmas.

It isn't a bad little time waster to set on auto and have play in the background while you are doing something else. Not the greatest, but a fun experience.

I'm excited for that Azur Lane Slow Ahead short series. Even if the animation quality matches the barrel-scraping level of the recent Strike Witches shorts, it'll still be great to see more niche shipgirls get their 15 seconds on screen. (Not to mention the various popular ones that didn't get to do anything in the main show.)

Nice to hear because it potentially means more Azur Lane anime stuff. Considering Kancolle's issues, it's a chance for yostar to get another leg up on the competition.

Cant wait for the Slow Ahead shorts, as long as they manage to do them well and not bodge them. There's a decent amount of material so far which really plays well on the established personalities of the characters and their interactions.
