Funnier still is the fact that over 1.5 years after its release and we’ll after its home media release, Promare is still running in theaters in Japan (not widely, but regularly in areas mostly in the Tokyo area). So despite being available to rent or buy and watch for free at home, like on Amazon Prime as so many did, people are still going to the theaters to see it (I went to a couple in the last six months even).
This movie is amazing in its staying power and how much fans support it. |
