I like the Ragna Crimson series. The art, the characters, the mystery, and the story. If you liked Ubel Blatt, I think you will like Ragna Crimson.
I actually like the Ragna and Leonica pairing. Life is cheap in their world, find happiness where you can. What I didn't like is the "to protect you, I have to leave you" storylines. I understand the motivation for it in the story, but I just didn't like the way it was done. Lot of self-sacrificing going on here. If you are going to be doing this stuff, then you also need to thinking of both of your's future happiness. What good is it if at the end of the road, there is no one waiting for you. Pretty dismal and bleak. So I am hoping the author is not going for "I can die happy, if you can live" scenario. Kinda of what pissed me off with Mushoku Tensei, with what Eris pulled with Rudeus. What is going to be waiting for Eris at the end of her road......Not looking good for her right now. |
